Hi, I’m Clara Spargo. I’m still easing into the whole “author” title, but I’m delighted you’re here.

What I write:

My ~debut~ novel, THE CONDUIT, is the first stop in a growing, shared universe. Expect flawed characters, real scars, and a little grit beneath the glitter. I write fantasy that doesn’t forget people come in every shape, size, and life story, and I lean into that reality on the page.

Why I write it
Perfect, unmarked characters have their place, but I’m drawn to the ones who aren’t. Living with a disability, I gravitate toward characters who carry scars inside and out. I want to read—and write—characters where I can recognise a bit of myself.

What happens next:
More books, same universe, fresh messes for my characters. Plans are stacking up, and I’d love you to join the journey.
